Similar to CrossFit main site forums, but a bit better filtered, between the two though can find info or references to about anything related to health and fitness.
http://www.orkut.com - it shows what can be done with a social networking site when the code is written in Brazil and most of the users are in Brazil and India, not the US… most of the US members are FROM either India or Brazil… and it has not been promoted, even though Google bought it 2-3 years ago. I make lots of connections with people I otherwise would never meet, or at least it would have taken me years longer as these people get buried in US networking sites.

There are loads of clubs and get-togethers all over the place, and this site corrals them so they can be searched. Knitting, politics, cooking, or any of several other themes can be perused for any area.

Read one Zen Koan a day. Some are pretty cryptic, but they’re short and a lot of them are absolute gems.
